I grew up in a small town, Springfield, Ohio and enjoyed it. Went on to Ohio State University in pre-engineering but did not graduate. Worked in broadcast engineering in Ohio and in Chicago, then worked in radio communications, public safety and 911 control centers. I have two grown daughters, one grandson. I live alone in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago.
I would like to lern about blogging and about writing for seniors. This sounds like a good way to look back on ones life and to look to the future.
My favorite thing right now is to go out early, bike or walk, get the paper and stop for coffee, and go to the programs at the Chicago Cultural Center.
I retired in September of 2010 and I am lovin' it! I would like to hear from other Chicago people.
