I was born and raised in New York and New Jersey and had the wonderful experience of marrying my wife who was born and raised in England. We met during my internship in l961. She was the nurse in the emergency room. It was love at first sight, but we held off marriage for five years while we worked out problems of a mixed marriage. With the Viet Nam war raging and my call to service, we decided enough is enough, married in 1966 and spent the next 41 years together until her passing in August 2007. I certainly had a good run and have no reason to complain. This is what logic dictates, but emotion does not follow this rule. I cannot express how much I miss her, but I will attempt to survive.
