2 years ago, after Katrina destroyed my house near New Orleans, I found myself in Virginia and stayed.  I now work in Washington, DC.  I have family and friends in Louisiana and Mississippi who I visit often.  There is nothing left for me in Louisiana unless I want to live with relatives, and I'm used to having my own place.
