  I grew up on the beaches on the Oregon coast in an extended family of hunter-gatherer's, what we gleaned we processed and set aside for the harsher times come winter.

  After the military I took to the woods and lived as a woods tramp working and living mostly by myself, and just recently moved to the city when I became unable to live in the woods any more.

  I love to cook, can, and process my own meat products.

  I may be a bit rough around the edges, but I am trying as good as I can.
