The short version is I'm a journalist and advocate who covers the wonderful world of aging!

I am the creator and editor of The Savvy Senior www.savvysenior.org, a national information service devoted to older Americans and the families who support them.

Through a variety of media, Savvy Senior (that would be me!) provides information, resources, tips and tools through my nationally syndicated newspaper column (published in 400 newspapers), senior newswire service, weekly radio program and television features on the NBC Today show and various other news outlets.
