For 26 years I pursued a career which suddenly came to a screeching halt with the onset of corporate downsizing.   Because I never saw it coming, and could not prepare myself for the fallout, I decided not to go back into the corporate world.  I found incredible peace and satisfaction working with God's creation as a landscaper. 

Then three years ago I became my mother's caregiver, and my life took another turn.  With the added responsibilities and additional stress I have had to put my life on the back burner.  Then one day I realized that I needed to reclaim my life and find balance so I can continue in my current role and the pursuit of my purpose.  

Jan08 - With the recent passing of my mom, my role and purpose need to be revisited.   

Since my weight is of greatest concern, that is where I am focusing - on a healthier lifestyle.

Activities
Playing with our pets (we have 20 paws - 3 dogs and 2 kitties), and very little time for anything else. Gardening, cross-stitching, playing EON games to unwind and exercise the brain.
