More about me

I teach Consumer Psychology (part time)  at the university level and also have a law degree (not practicing at this time).

Most of my life has been spent juggling kids, school and work; it took me nine years to finish my PhD in Biopsychology.

I had a brilliant idea of attending law school, thinking I would use my training in Psychology  to work in the area of Mental Health Law.  So, at the age of 41 I entered law school, graduated and passed the Bar on my first try (not bad for a forty-something)!

Unfortunately, it was impossible to get a job in the mental health field, so I worked for a firm that represented domestic violence victims.  After two years the operation folded and I was unemployed and unprepared for the ageism that exists in the legal employment arena.  It has been really difficult to find work as an attorney,

So....... now I'm back into teaching Psychology....but who knows... I haven't  yet given up yet the idea of practicing law...
