The state of Montana is the engine driving the motivation for my work. Simply put, I love Montana. I was born here, will spend my entire life here, and it's what I see in Montana, that I put into my work. You won't always see a literal interpretation of a horse, or a scene, because I throw what I feel about my subjects into my paintings. Colors jump with intense, vibrant, emotion, and humor springs to life in some of my work. Other times, you see the quiet serenity of horses grazing, or a mountain sleeping. In my work, you see how I react to elements that surround me.
