If you are reading my profile, it is probably because you have seen my name on a high-score list. Obviously, I spend a lot of time playing computer games-- too much, to be sure. Anybody else besides me think that is a moral failing? Other than playing computer games, these are the things I love: walking, traveling abroad, hiking in the woods or mountains, finding sharks' teeth on the gulf beaches, bird watching, and reading. These are things I want to do: yoga, writing, and joining a book club. Currently, I live in Minnesota which has neither mountains nor oceans so I am planning a move east as soon as we can sell our house. We plan to relocate to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, which is a delightful college town with lots of cultural activities and lots of medical research (which is my vocation). We will be three hours from the beach and three hours from the mountains.

 I have two grown children who are both graduate students. I'm fortunate to be in good health and would like to stay that way!
