Places I've been
Growing up in Kansas in the 50s/60s was great, but those summer trips to Colorado were awesome! We stayed in a cabin at the base of Pikes Peak and explored the beauty of Garden of the Gods(on horse back), Estes Park, Rainbow Valley, Green Mountain Falls, & panned for gold in a mountain stream. Another summer we vacationed in Branson Mo (long before the Country stars made it their home) & peddleboated the great Lake of the Ozarks. Later in life, I lived in Northern Mo. and still have great friends there. As far as Florida goes, I've lived in Tampa,Cortez,Sunset Beach,Bradenton,Lakeland, Gainesville & Winter Haven.

My all time favorite hero was my Dad! John F. Kennedy was a favorite, back when fallout shelters were the topic of the day. John Wayne & Audie Murphy. I truly admire all the service men & women who are protecting our freedom.
Favorite Animals
I am presently owned by a sassy cat named Kissie and she insists that I put her at the top of my favorites list.But long before she came along, I had a Collie dog, a pinto mare, and her colt "Star Duster", I have always loved horses, but Kissie says that cats are my "favorites"
