Went to High School in Glenwood City

Attended Luther College, Decorah Iowa  for B.A.

Taught elementary school in Mason City, Iowa.

Went to Spokane, Washington for graduate work at Whitworth College and worked for District 81 teaching there.  Graduated in May with an M.Ed. and married in June.

Came to Pennsylvania for awhile after marriage.

One year later, we started moving with husband's company: Nebraska, California, Virgininia, Texas, then back to Pennsylvania.  Two sons were born in California.

We live in a small town here and my sons are now almost grown.  One is in the Marine Corps Band and the other will attend college in NC this fall (2007). I am a teacher in a small private school, which keeps me busy 10 months of the year. 

I would like to write more, but I have not had time to be creative.  Launching boys takes a lot of time.  (I am sure it is with girls too, but I haven't done it.) Working on "this old house" is a constant effort and demand for my time too, as it is always needing some improvement.  Now are sons will be "off yondering" and we will want to seem them a few times these upcoming years. 

Other things I do:  Jazzercize, walking, reading, gardening, and beading.

 

Reading light novels (romantic, historical, happy, etc. types), walking, and Jazzercize.

Educational Charities, my Lutheran Church and Pastor Unity in Tanzania, Africa

Light rock, jazz, easy listening, beach, classical symphonic.

Green Dolphin Street by Elizabeth Goudge, The Far Pavilions, Christy, The Outlander Seriers by D. Gabaldon, and many more.

My family...husband and two sons (ages 20 and 18), my grandmother, my sister and her girls, and my husband's family members all 400 of them. (They are related to everyone.)

The Coastlines of America and I have sons who will be located on the East Coast this fall. I love beaches...any kind...primitive, or full of people. I have deep feelings for Rural Midwest...my homeland. But, I am glad to be here in western Pennsylvania.
