- More about me

I am an oddity in life. I am of Cherokee descent with mixed ties to many other cultures. I am a revert Muslim who remains close to my heritage and ties. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children ages respectively 31, 29, 6, and 3. I loved it so much the first time I had to do it all again. :) I truly believe and live by the following__ that for every hardship or sorrow that we suffer, there are a dozen blessings if we only choose to open our heart and see what our Creator has given to us. I love life, laughter, and living my life in peace with compassion.

An old Cherokee is telling his grandson about a fight that is going on inside him. He said it is between 2 wolves. One is evil: Anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is good: Joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, Which wolf wins? The old Cherokee simply replied, The one I feed.
