Places I've been
Gee....there are so many. At present, I live in the SF Bay area...but my heart is in Portland, OR...and in Seattle, WA. I've lived in Massachusetts, Maine, Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, California....wait...who cares? I love the world and I love to explore it. I love to learn about other cultures and their art and ways of life.... what else?

More about me

I am a mixed media artist living in the SF Bay area. I am almost a vegan...but not quite as I still indulge in the occasional bit of goat cheese on the random salad. I am a graduate student in psychology with a view toward opening my own artists retreat or artists retreat group.

Here is a link to my art site: http://www.ebsqart.com/Artists/cmd_801_profile.htm

I am married, a mother of adult children and am a grandmother. I am interested in other people and cultures and am here to make friends and to experience as much of *your* world as you are willing to share.

I am passionate about both performing and visual arts. I attend the theater, ballet and modern dance events frequently. I love to hear authors read their works. I enjoy poetry readings. I am wild about performance art and all kinds of contemporary visual art.

I used to be a singer. Now I can't even carry a tune. I am musically inclined, however, and play the piano, guitar, saxophone and various other instruments...some better than others. I was in my first band at age 13 and went on to have quite the musical experience....and then I went to work for an entertainment law firm where I got to see the "other side" of the music industry. (I became disenchanted.)

I believe that each person can make a difference to this planet in his or her own life and in the lives of others. I am politically liberal, but am not one of those people who defines others soley by their politics. Expect to be treated respectfully by me if you treat me respectfully.

I have a large industrial work/live space in the emerging Jingletown Arts District in the San Francisco East Bay. It can be daunting at times. Sometimes I long for a little cottage and lots of flowers...but I am here for a reason, for now, and shall make the best of it!

I am an advocate for women. I am an advocte for animals. I love to travel, read, look at art, create art, talk about art, learn from art. I love animals of all kinds. I love to read and I love to write...poetry....short stories...

My motto? I consider life to be a good thing...and I strive to enjoy it.

Oh....and there *is* life beyond this computer. I try to live it, actually...so if I'm not here a lot, imagine me out somewhere enjoying life, ok? That's where I will be.
