I retired from IBM at the age of 49 after 30years, in 1993. I then spent a few years doing jobs that required no decisions on my part, until our last child finished college. In 1998 we left the north woods of central Wisconsin and moved to a place on an island outside Corpus Christi. After 2 years of living on the beach, we discovered that we really weren't beach bums. The beach is a great get away place but really hard to live at full time.
We moved to the Phoenix area and now live in an adult community. The nicely kept neighborhood and grounds are great. The big city life is wonderful play ground, when you don't have to work in it.
Life is great!! and we continue to look at new and different adventures and life styles.
