More about me

I grew up in a very small farming community in the Maryland mountains. I have a BA in English/Education and a MS in Library Science. I moved to the Eastern Shore  in 1974.  I retired in June 2006 after working as an elementary school librarian for 25 years. I loved the kids but needed a break to re-connect with life.

I love taking pictures:  digital photography is the absolute best thing since sliced bread!! There are so many ways to tweak a picture to make it even better than the original. I value a sense of humor: mine has helped me survive some of life's disappointments!  Well, actually I am quite a practical joker.  LOL
