Have lived in the AZ desert for 26 years, but grew up in Charleston, SC. My husband of 31 years passed away in April 2007 and was a retired USMC officer and then had a successful career in real estate. For 27 years I worked as a medical scientist, then health problems changed my life course. We lived in the Orient for four years and traveled most of the Asian countries.

After 27 years as a medical scientist, health issues changed the course of my life.  I enjoy designing and making jewelry, swimming, but since my husband's passing last year I've not returned to cooking or baking which was a passion.  A few months before I lost him, we lost our Bedlington terrier, Brooke, who really was the most loving, beautiful dog and loyal friend.
