More about me

Living in South Carolina has been lovely for the last 20 some years. I was born and raised 60 miles NW of Chicago, yet I think I am a southern woman at heart. I live in the country and wouldn't move to town unless I had to. I value the room we need for our Rocky Mountain horses, miniature donkey, dogs and cats.

My husband has a great job, so I am blessed in that I don't have to have a 9 to 5! This has given me time to pursue other interests, hobbies and businesses.

My daughter is grown and has turned into a wonderful young woman. I am very proud of her. 

I love life and believe we should never, ever take it for granted!

Most all Irish music, some pieces by Bach, The Cocteau Twins, Joni Mitchell and other female artists, Paul Simon, Christopher Parkinson, many of the oldies, except I didn't care for a lot of the disco. Also, any music that makes me want to dance while driving!

History, Discovery, NG, channels; HGTV; Still Standing; Friends; Mind of Mencia, his monologs; The 4400; Mad Men; Monk; Band Of Brothers; and sometimes, House

Doctor Zhivago; Cold Mountain; The Jerk; Groundhog Day; Gone With the Wind; Saving Private Ryan; and probably more that are slipping my mind
