Hartford,CT, East & West Hartford, CT., Manchester, CT., Sanford, ME. Florida, California, all the East Coast states, drove cross country to Col orado, Utah, Louisiana,Texas, from Maine to Niagra Falls, then across Canada to Quebec. Heidleburg and Frankfurt and several other big cities in Germany.

Born and formally schooled through high school in Bucksport, ME, I've taught myself to make pictures of all kinds in various mediums. I do realistic land and seascapes as well as portraits of people & animals for fun a & on commission. I've written, illustrated & published stories, poems, & songs with music.  At 74, I'm retired after 42 years with P&WA as a welding operator and Process Engineer. I'm happily wed for 55 years so far. I've lived in Sanford, ME since 1990, where I'm a member of the Sanford Springvale Art Association.  I've been a member of several art groups & have won many awards for my work, which is shown in several public areas in Sanford.  I'm a volunteer at the H.D. Goodall Hospital where I do portraits & play piano for the rehab & memory impaired residents.  I'm an active Latter-Day Saint. I've had 3 children (1 died leaving me responsible for 2 teenage granddaughters) and 8 grandchildren. 

 

Helping others who need it as much as I can, in the several ways possible: physically, emotionally, financially, etc.. I'm an active Christian in spirit. My recent activities include portrait painting, piano composition, writing songs and short stories for fun and to entertain others. I'm not into physical sports much in my current condition, but like to watch bowling and golf on "old One-Eye" the eye- trap in our living room.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, The American Heart Association, The March of Dimes, The Disabled American Vets, & any group that's set up to help children and the homeless. The Sanford-Springvale Art Association.

Classical piano, specifically that composed by such greats as Chopin, Debussy, Lizst, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Beethoven, etc., etc..

If you think learning is tough, try ignorance! No matter how much we know, it's never enough! Nothing is difficult...for those who don't have to do it!

Jesus the Christ, Son of the Living God. Gordon B. Hinckley, modern day Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My wife children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. My parents and all the generations of progenitors responsible for my existance in the flesh. My teachers, both formal and informal, who have formed me into the person I have become.

Wherever the scenery is so beautiful that it makes my heart pound from the sheer joy of being there. With my wife, of course.
