Have traveled to England, France, Canada, Austria, Italy, Brazil, and Guatemala. Own land with a trout stream flowing through it in the mountains of West Virginia. Spend time writing, reading books, composing music, playing guitar-piano-drums-Native American flutes-string bass. Currently doing fund-raising for a new school in San Marcos La Lagina, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.

Married to Suzanne for 37 years. We have three sons: Joshua (29), Jonathan (27), and Jeremiah (24). Josh is married to Courtney and they proudly provided my wife and I with our first grandchild - Althea. I "retired" from 31 years in ministry six years ago, and now teach general music in an elementary school.  My wife is a school teacher also, and we plan to enter retirement in 2009.

I enjoy jazz, blues, folk music, bluegrass, classic rock, classical 18th Century music, and pop music. My favorite musicians are Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra/Michael Buble, Noara Jones, Josh Groban, Joshua Bell, Peter-Paul & Mary, Yo Yo-Ma, and anything Beethoven or Mozart.
