work fulltime as a nurse, like all types of music, dancing, singing. lived in same town all my life, have two dogs, like to work in the yard, try to grow a few flowers and plants, love the outdoors except for the winter months. I like to read, watch some movies, mostly romantic comedies, travel quite frequently. I like conversations with people who are warm, caring and tolerant of others.
Activities
Music: I sing with a community chorus at Indiana University Southeast. We give at least two concerts per year. Usually the spring concert is a major program. It includes the university orchestra and the concert choir. Miniatures: I like to work in miniatures, particularly dollhouses, accessories and furnishings. I make as many as I can and belong to a miniatures club. I am a member of NAME (National Assn of Miniatures Enthusiasts). They have chapters all over the USA One of my dreams is to be recognized as an artisan.
Favorite Charities
I don't have a favorite charity but I am partial to the Salvation Army. One of my first jobs was with the Army as a secretary at age 18. I really had my eyes opened to this wonderful organization. Previously I had thought they were a religious organization that preached and sung on street corners to collect money.

Blues, Jazz, Soul-- Favorite singers: Patti Labelle, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin. These ladies have indeed paid their dues.
