I am Cherokee Indian background, Eastern Band (Cherokee, NC). I am very devoted to the culture/spirituality of our people. My interests? Always loved reading. I am especially good at writing poetry.

I have a 4 year old grandson named James and a 7 month old grandson named Shane. We have two children, Melanie (31 yrs old) and Charlie (27 yrs old). Melanie is the mother of our two grandchildren. She has MS but is getting along well.

I have had type 2 diabetes for ten years. Everyone in my family had either type 1 or type 2. I am also an avid World of Warcraft player.
