I didn't go on to college. I had a scholarship to do so.. for Journalism and art. Christmas Eve of my senior year in high school, my life took a serious turn and changed the course I was on. I was in a air crash with US Air. My Father was killed and I spent 9 hrs.. on a mountain top in -5 degree weather until rescued.. 10 year later.. I did put myself through cosmetology school.

I own a haircolor studio in Ca. I have been in this industry since 1979. I had 3 salons on the east coast. I am a former artistic educator for L'Oreal out of NY and Schwarzkopf out of Germany. I was based on the east coast as well, as the west, LA.
Teaching colorists, sales forces(how to sell in color), and setting up hairshow events for both companies.. got burnt out from the travel and living in LA with no mass transit and moved back to northern Ca, where I own a home and enjoy life.
