My aunt said I don't know what a stranger is. I guess I'm the gregarious sort. I really enjoy my friends, but I keep close to only a few. Maybe you would like to number among them?

I'm an artist currently working in fabric. I design and create art quilts. I've won awards at the last four shows I've entered. Before I started quilting, I worked with fused and slumped glass art and also paint pet portraits. I once sent Martha Stewart a duct tape handbag with her image on two sides.

I also enjoy spending time with my grown sons.  They keep me current on music and pop culture and I keep them fed when they are around.  Lucky for them, I'm a good cook.  I have even written my own cookbook, which is updated annually.  That started out as a Christmas gift for friends and family and has grown.

I share my life with 4 miniature long-haired dachshunds.  They may be small, but they have a lot of heart.  After 25 years of raising Great Danes ( a breed that dies at a early age), I needed a longer-lived breed.  I found it!
