Afterwards I went to secretarial school in Lanham, MD, then to school thru the US Gov't and became a Claim's Rep for Social Security, this after being a Claims Dev., Clerk, & Service Rep., My last job outside of home was at a RiteAid @1987.

I have been a clerk for drug stores, dime stores, grocery store, & other types of stores. I have been a waitress for American, Italian & Mexican restaurant's. I have worked for the US Government in Washington, DC, Silver Spring & Camp Springs, MD. I have been an information operator for Chesapeake & Potomac phone Co.,and a homemaker. And some volunteer "amateur" genealogical work. I held my first job at age 16 in Langley Park, MD.
Born in Washington DC, live in Maryland now. Have lived in DC,North Carolina, & Maryland. I have been from NY to FL and only as far West as WV. I was in the Army briefly at Ft. McClellan AL.(honorable dis) I have been married since 1969. I like genealogy,history SOUTHERN culture, SouthernHeritage, on-line games, cats,small gardens,ART, lighthouses,some movies, ghosts some politics. I do not like to take trips anymore usually unless it's with my family. I have one son and one Granddaughter.
