I moved to Oahu 36 years ago thinking I would stay 9 months or a year to see what it was like, after 2 years I traveled cross country ( in a VW van of course) and spent a fall and winter in the Berkshiers then got back on an airplane and headed back to Hawaii. I liked New England alot but it was just too darned cold for me.
