When you get to be my age there's a lot to say -- I raised four children, had several successful careers (in real estate, in law, in writing and teaching).
I was a stay-at-Mom until my children were independent, then a working Mom until two of them graduated from college and left home. Of the other two, one died at age 16 from a cerebral aneurysm and the other is severely retarded/autistic.
I've loved politics since Eisenhower's campaign in the 50s and over the years have lived in many communities across the USA and worked in politics in each one. I'm a lifelong learner -- when I was raising small children I took correspondence courses in a variety of subjects -- my current interest is Constitutional law.
I could write many pages -- that comes with age, I suspect. I think my current philosophy is "You're never to old to live happily ever after." I'm living that one.

Jack will spend any amount of money to buy votes but he balks at investing a thousand dollars in a beautiful painting." Jackie Kennedy (A favorite because it articulates the way Democrats win elections.)
