Early in 2006, filmmaker Danielle Lurie, 28, was on a plane seated next to Jack, 81. He was flying across the U.S. to meet Betty, whom he hadn't seen in 62 years. This short film (just under 6 minutes) tells the story of his anticipation and their reunion.

A year later, Lurie says, "Jack has moved across the country (he drove himself!). He now lives with Betty and according to her daughter, Cheryl (who is also in the film), they are incredibly happy and youthful. It's just great, isn't it!"
