New Horse September 11, 2009
Bought a new horse today. Came with the name of Koter but I changed it to Jack Daniels (Jack) in light of his breed - Tennessee Walking Horse, whiskey coloration and smooth gaits.

30th Anniversary April 27, 2009
Went on our 10 day eastern Caribbean cruise. Antigua, St.Lucia, Barbados, St.Kitts, St. Thomas and Princess Cays. Land trip to and from Florida included visits to Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, St.Louis

Back in the hospital October 17, 2008
Back in the hospital, pneumonia reoccurred. This time only 3 1/2 days and no ICU.

Pneumonia with Sepsis September 14, 2008
Hospitalized for 7 days with severe pneumonia, 3 days in ICU (just missed being put on a ventilator by probably 15 minutes) and then 4 days on the Med/Surg unit. Sick, sick, sick!!! Don't want to do that again.

Finished laying the 1948 pavers to complete the patio.

New Car November 17, 2007
We picked up our new Honda Civic today. Beautiful dark red color, Navigation system, very nice!

4 seasons addition on our house September 30, 2007 -
Sept. 06/2007. Work has started on the addition, footings have been dug. Sept 24, the footings are poured. Sept 25, the block foundation has been laid. Things have been progressing well and it is now 12/26/07. Just a few finishing touches to do and the rest of the carpeting will be installed tomorrow. By the end of this year it will be complete. 12/31/2007 - moved all the living room furniture into the addition. It turned out great. Just love sitting in it now that everything is completed. We will be using this room alot!!!!!

Beautiful but very hot day at the races. Temp in mid 90's, no clouds and only a faint breeze. Otherwise, had a great time!!
