Future??? 2008
Find a loving companion who shares some of my interests and is willing to travel in order to get acquainted with this peaceful haven and a woman who needs a man to love.

Writing January 2007 -
After my divorce I started writing stories, mostly about family experiences, but also some fantasy. I write with equal ease in Spanish and English, and this of course also occasionally provides some extra income from translations. Am now in the process of getting the latest story in Spanish published (about well-behaved toads, with some inspiration from Kenneth Grahame).

Wee beasties January 2007 - Salta, Argentina
Thanks to a loan obtained three years ago, I again have my ceramics workshop although I have not been able to do much in it for the last year due to lack of funds to purchase raw materials. Also have to spend a lot of time teaching. Still, at 65 I don't lose hope of finally dedicating the rest of my life to this activity, and also continuing work with the rescue of our hairless dogs.

Indiana home August 3, 2004 - Bloomington, Indiana
I was last in Indiana for my mother's ninetieth birthday, and was once again impressed by the state's lush beauty. Also by the gentle kindness of its people.

Back in Salta December 2003 - Salta, Argentina
I returned to Salta in '98, with my two remaining old Sealies and my geese, Lucy and Leander - in this picture taken in what passes for a garden in my humble home on the outskirts of the city. I love this place! Two cats are my house companions.

Hairless dogs October 1991 - Chile
After my divorce a year ago, I have moved to Chile with my Sealyham terriers and two Pila bitches, Alba and Aurora in this photograph. A good friend in Salta later sent me another dog and bitch, and with these and the original two I started a brief 3 years' experience in improving the breed before economic constraints put an end to the project.

Stoneware January 1986 -
We moved to a house on the outskirts of the city, where I built a small workshop and a stoneware kiln in '83. I continued breeding Seayhams and trimming show and pet dogs, and had several successful exhibitions until my divorce in 1990. This pot, made in Salta, was sold in an exhibition in Chile in 1991.

Pets October 1980 - Salta city, Salta, Argentina
My darling old Sealyham terrier Tuck, his mate Abbie, and their offspring, are my loves in an unsuccessful marriage that is now 11 years old. I have also been involved, for the past five years, in the rescue of our aboriginal hairless breed of dogs, the Pero Pila Argentino.

Work in Salta January 1976 -
After the United Nations project I had worked in for five years as a bilingual secretary came to an end, my main source of income was trimming dogs, something I had to learn to do with my Sealies and then expanded to other breeds.

Ceramics January 1970 - southern Salta province, Argentina
My unhappy marriage is one year old, and I am trying very hard to make it work. After over 5 years of life in Indiana, I have returned to Argentina, and my husband and I are living in the northern province of Salta. I have made a small updraft, wood fired kiln, and started to work in terracotta with engobe decorations based on ancient Peruvian designs.

Life abroad October 1963 - U.S.A.
My parents and I moved to Indiana in 1963. At Indiana University I learned about stoneware, and took Theater Arts courses while working on Latin American colonial manuscripts in a library of antiquities.

Singing and acting October 13, 1960 - Buenos Aires
My 18th birthday, graduating from highschool, participating in the Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gilbert &Sullivan Society's production of 'Patience'. That's me in the back row, extreme left, with lots of flowers on the hat brim... Had a lot of fun with G&S operettas for four years in my adolescence, and also did some minor acting in more serious theatre.
