Second marriage October 5, 1985 - California

I married my second husband in 1985 in Nevada.

My life in California January 5, 1981 - California

I finished school and had worked a few years when I decided to go back to school in 1980. My husband had been seeing other women for years and we were having it really rough at this time. I guess the added stress of school put me over the edge and at Christmas break I couldn,t take it anymore and left him to move out of state. I had a sister in Calif., so decided to move to be closer to her. A year later I met the love of my life. We married in 1985. After being together for several years he became ill and had to retire from work. Not being able to afford Calif. on a retirement check, we moved back to Illinois, as he knew how very much I missed my children. He passed away in 1993 and my life has never been the same.

Entered nursing school August 21, 1974 - Rend Lake College/Illinois

I had been a nurses aide for 5 years, so decided to become a liscensed nurse. I entered nursing school and graduated in 1976

getting married April 5, 1958 - Illinois

I quit school to get married at the age of 16. How stupid was that. It lasted 25 years and produced four children, but we ended up divorcing in 1983.

First home April 5, 1958 - Waltonville, Il

After we got married and being so young, we moved in with his parents. They eventually bought a place in town and gave us the farm house. I hated farming and the fact that we were so far away from town and civilization. I was just a kid and didn,t have a clue.

Death of my mother July 11, 1951 - Illinois

My mother passed away when I was 10 years old. This had a profound effect on me. I was the oldest of four siblings and immediately felt like I had become the mother. I have felt like the proverbial mother all my life. That includes my relationships with men.
