I don't remember any details about the day I was born, but... November 30, 1952 - Corpus Christi, TX
19 years later, that hour would have a major impact on my life. I was born around 1:30 in the morning on the 30th of November, which resulted in my draft number being 14. Had I been born just a couple hours earlier, the high draft number assigned to those born on Nov. 29th, would have meant no draft, never being at Ft Polk, LA, and a completely different future for me. While stationed at Ft Polk, I met and married my wife of 32 years, Sandy. Any speculation of the difference on my life are impossible to imagine.
