Broken Ankle March 14, 2007 - Corner of 95th and Roberts Rd.
Got hit by a car while walking my bicycle across a very busy intersection. Careless, spaced-out lady made a right-hand turn on a red light. She came to a complete stop - she had the red light. Then she looked to the left while her car was moving to the right. Knocked down and ankle broken in 2 places.

Retirement Shrine July 1, 2006 - Chicago IL
After 28 years I retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield. I'm really looking forward to doing exactly what I want to and sleeping until I feel like getting up.

Married in LV May 11, 1995 - Circus Circus Chapel - Las Vegas
We got married at a little Chapel at Circus Circus, Las Vegas. You could not even hear the slot machines clinking in the background.

Completed America's Marathon, Chicago Finish time: 5:27:25 for 26.2 miles Finish position: 2620 out of 2869 Finish position: 36 out of 42 in age group. Sponsored by Beatrice Foods Co. in cooperation with the Flair Foundation and the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Staying Active -
Took up bicycle riding about 2 years ago, partly to stay in shape because my ankle was broken and it was impossble to walk. Also my motivation was a class reunion where we were going on a bicycle ride on a trail along the Allegheney.

I'd like to lose at least 40 lbs. All my life I've been a yo-yo dieter. I own almost every book imaginable about diet and weight loss. Still looking for the answer.

Move to Warmer Climaate
Tired o the cold, wet, dreary weather in Chicago. Want to move to either Florida where my sister lives or to Las Vegas.
