I was an at-home mom and Avon representative when my life fell apart. My second husband left me for another woman. I had to find work outside of the home. I love driving so I decided to become a school bus driver. I drove for special needs children, specializing in autistic children.

I decided when I was in my early 20's that I didn't want to do any manual labor. I got my GED and then went on to college and graduated with a degree in accounting.

My son Matthew weighed in at 10lb. 6 1/2 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long! I don't need to tell you that that was a rather uncomfortable event. His hair was down to his shoulders! Now look at him.

I get my own horse! April 1978 - Redding, CA
On my own with too much money and no concept of what it's worth I bought a horse. His name was Tasab. He was half thoroughbred, one quarter morgan and one quarter Arabian. The only thing that kept him on the ground was the morgan in him. He was very spirited and big fun to ride.
