  • Learn to Play the Accordian 2020

I studied the piano for about 6 years, but what I really desire to learn is the accordion so I can play the romantic Italian music I love.

  • Dietitian With a Mission January 2012 -

I want to impact as many people as possible with the message of preventive health through whole-food nutrition. I am planning on joining a Toastmasters club to improve my public speaking skills. I am always looking for ways to share good health and fitness information with others. I desire to find individuals that have a similar vision and build a team dedicated to improving the health of families in our fast- food nation. I want to leave a legacy of changed lives and improved health for a multitude of Americans.

  • Back Into the Job Market September 2005

I started a business as a Personal Trainer and Nutrtion Counselor and persued that for 2 years before changing focus. I found that nutrition education is what I most love doing and promoting the whole-food nutrition of Juice Plus enabled me to positively impact other's health. I reoriented my business in that direction and also took a part-time job as a dietitian for a hospice. I love both jobs and they complement each other well. This is my first employment as an RD in 22 years. I'm absolutely thrilled to be back working in the field of my passion.

  • Five Daughters March 23, 1986 -

My first daughter, Phoebe, was born 3 years after my son. She was followed by Shena, Charity, Theodora, and Gabriella. Motherhood has been an odyessy as well as an immense blessing. God has been so generous to me.

  • I Met the Lord Jesus Christ November 1983

My husband and I were living in a small university town in southwestern Va where we knew no one. I spent the days taking care of our infant son while my husband did manual labor and was away 14 hours a day. It was beautiful there with the fall colors, but lonely. I had always felt that I could direct my own destiny, but came to recognize there and then that I was not in control and was not going to be able to achieve my dreams. I also was having a difficult time taking care of a very energetic baby that was still nursing every hour of the night at 9 months old. I realized that I wasn't as smart as I'd always thought and that I had made some seriously bad choices that could never be undone. Felling humbled and in need of direction and forgiveness, I sought God and committed my life to him. I felt an immediate peace at that moment which was accompanied by an intense desire to find a church and read the Bible. There happened to be a very alive Charismatic church next door to us which we started attending. We developed many friendships there which we still enjoy. The Lord has guided and helped me through so many issues in our lives with our marriage, our children, others, jobs, health, ministry, etc. I love him more every year as I see more of his goodness, power, and faithfulness. He is my life.

  • My First Child Was Born March 27, 1983 -

My son, Moishe, was born when we were living in Cocoa Beach, Fl. He brought such an incredible flood of love, joy, and challenge to our marriage. He was the beginning of my adventure with motherhood, the hardest and best job I ever had and the one occupation that never ends. I felt very inadequate for this effort, but the Lord has helped me in so many ways and still does every day.

  • I Met my Husband September 28, 1970 -

I had only been at Fla Presbyterian Collage about 2 weeks when I met my future husband. We married 3 years later. We've had our ups and downs, but have always been best friends. He is a gift from God and we have 37 years of happy memories. We have lived in some nice places - N Carolina, Pocono Mtns of Penn, Calif, Va, and Fla. The Lord granted us 6 children, the first being born 2 days before our 10th wedding anniversary. The last arrived shortly after my 44th birthday and that was the easiest pregnancy of them all.

  • Living in Japan January 19, 1957

My father was in the AF and we were transferred from Calif to Japan. We were on an old Army ship for a solid month before landing on my fifth birthday. We lived there for 3 years and loved it. The people are so friendly and generous. The country is beautiful and the culture is very interesting. They have so many festivals throughout the year. We had a maid and a gardener on a enlisted man's salary since the dollar was worth so much more than yen at that time.

  • Camping in the Redwoods June 1956 -

My family went camping at Big Sur. It was very special. I loved the big trees and the beach. It was crisp and raw.
