Occasionally, we are graced with the presence of an earth bound Angel. They are unable to stay with us for long, but while they do, they bring unprecedented joy and happiness to all they touch. While they are here, we bask in their goodness and marvel at their contribution to the world. When they leave, we are left with the devastation that comes with losing such a wonderful being...but we must remember...the earth bound Angels are not ours to keep. They are ours to enjoy, learn from, and behold until they return home.

WEDDING BELLS December 1, 2008

Well, we finally "tied the knot."... Sharon and I were married on the first of December at the Naval Air Station Chapel... Chaplain Commander William Holiman performed the service... It was a small ceremony with family and just a few close friends in attendance...

Sabine Island, Site of EPA Facility 2006 - Gulf Breeze, FL

Sabine Island is a man-made, government-owned island located between Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach, Florida... It approximately 17 acres in size and is home to the Environmental Protection Agency's Gulf Ecology Division - A facility staffed with scientists doing ecological studies in the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding water areas... This Lifebit was mistakenly placed... It should have been placed in the "Jobs" portion of this profile...

The old family estate in Paintsville, Kentucky... This is where the annual family picnic is held the day before the reunion... The reunion is held annually on Memorial Day... On Memorial Day the family visits the family graveyard on the property and renews the flowers and spends a few moments in prayer for the daparted family members...

The photo is the "outhouse" at Andrew Jackson's home, The Hermitage... After the family reunion in Kentucky, we traveled to Nashville, TN and spent four days there... We stayed in the Opryland Hotel... What a treat...
