Here's to the Future January 2026 -

One of my present objectives is to prepare for the future by staying as mentally alert as possible, and hope not to be the cause of any worries to my family.

Looking Ahead 2025

I have always enjoyed writing stupid verse, tried and pick at the guitar,and have done a few simple painting strokes in the past. As each one of these activities requires a certain mind set, I'll probably return to them once again.

Pursuit of Learning and Hobbies January 2020 -

I'd like to continue at Block for several more years, and learn more about use of the computer as well as keeping up with my enjoyment of nature thru photography. I don't expect to read any less voraciously, and hope to find another cruise-------

Sheer Enjoyment December 2007 -

We are looking forward to a 16 day cruise over the Christmas and New Years. Our furthest Southern port will be French Guiana- Devil's Island- and certainly hoping from the movie version, that we'll be able to excape and come home!

The Foreseeable Future October 2007 -

I expect to continue working, with plenty of time in the off season to pursue my love of travel.

Another Loss October 2004 -

My mother passed away, at age 90. So many good memories!

Semi-Retirement October 2000

After having spent many years in retail, retired from the Coast Guard Exchange System

Yet Another Career January 2000

Although we are enjoying having job free days, it's time to get back out there and work with more people! I started working for H&R Block as a receptionist, then a year later went to their tax preparation classes, and have been enjoying that seasonally ever since.

My father passed away after having had Alzheimers for several years. He still makes me smile!
