Kenny December 14, 1998 - Gainesville V.A.

He was my life, and I still miss him. He was a great step- grandpa for Karolyn. She still misses him also. We were married for not quite 10 years, and it was the best time of my life. I loved living in Key Largo with him,having our wood business, working together, and then our move to Lake City. He passed away in Gainesville V.A. ,at the age of 50. It just a few months after my daughter got married. He never got to see Kristin,the youngest granddaughter, whom he would have loved so much. God Bless you Kenny. Wish you were still here with us!!Miss you! Especially during Memorial Holiday,when I put the flag on your grave. I know you are looking down on us, and are proud of your family. David December 14, 1989 - Poland

He was a terrific father, and husband. He was a Viet Nam vet, in the Navy, and also in the Merchant Marines. He worked for Bell South, after he got married. He loved being a Lutheran, sailing, and fishing.David was killed on his motercycle, after crossing over into Russia. They took him back to Warsaw, but he passed away. The kids and I have missed him, and he has missed seeing them finishing growing up. He never got to meaat his granddaughters. They would have loved him also.

Loved working with the Girl Scouts, camped a lot, sold a lot of cookies, etc. My daughter received the silver arrow while I was the leader. I learned a lot about shells and coral while working at the Shell Man....

Our dream house, 4th 1981 - Key Largo Florida

It was built up on "stilts", and over looked Black Water Sound. We had a boat basin , and our own boat, which we spent lots of time in. The 3 kids went to school at Key Largo Elem., then on thru Coral shores High, fromwhich they all graduated. I was very active in girl Scouts, Methodist church, and work at the Shell Man, where I was Manager of Wholesale, and shipping, for over 10 years. It was the happiest time of my life, before we lost David, my husband and the kids dad.......

3rd house was only for a short while 1980 - South Miami, Florida

David was transferred by Bell system, to south Florida., so we purchased a small trailer until we finished building our dream house in Key Largo. We were only there a little over a year, and it was a very different experience, lots of different people, etc.

Our second house 1977 - Lake Mohawk, in Ohio

On a private lake, close to Malvern. It was a 2 floor house, beautiful, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. It was a lake front, and we soon had our own boat. Spent lots of time fishing in the summer, and ice skating in winter. Our daughter started kindergarden there, and we became members of St. Martin's Lutheran Church.. made lots of friends.

Davina, our only daughter, August 13, 1972 - Canton, Ohio

My joy in finally having a daughter, after 2 sons. She was the first granddaughter on both sides. It only took 1/2 hour for her to enter the world. A beautiful baby, and everyone welcomed her.

Eric born, second son April 30, 1970

Was the largest , and longest of my 3 children....he is now over 6'2", and also a terrific adult..has his own business

Our first home 1969 - Greentown, Ohio

It was a 3 bedroom ranch style home, on 1/2 half acre. We managed to get moved in before the birth of our 2nd son, Eric. The neighborhood soon filled up with young families, and lots of children. We were still close enough to our parents, so we could visit often.
