A 3 family apartment house 1949 - SE Nebraska
We three sisters lived with our mother in a very small apartment in an old house that had been converted into apartments. We had no bathtub or hot water, and heated water to bathe with and wash clothes. We bathed in one of those old, metal tubs... yes, on Saturday night, LOL... We washed clothes with the old wringer machine and two rinse tubs, in the living room. We had a kitchen, with a bed in it, a sleeper couch, and a hallway just wide enough for another bed... I was 5 then, and lived there really from the time I was about 3.5 years old until I was 13 and mom remarried. We had a lot of fun in that place!
