Eons Book Gallery for Authors & Book Lovers

So where have all the writers gone?

I'm here to let you know that I recently posted three of my books on Eons Book Gallery for Authors and Book Lovers. It would be something to do if you would look that up, and if you see anything that interests you, investigate it further at amazon.com. If you type in my name you'll get all the books on one page and won't have to do it one at a time.

If you are interested in abstract art there's a new website of my paintings and my husband's sculpture at www.artbygarrison.com.

Happy viewing!

Poets and writers

Hi! Welcome!
I love talking with writers because that's what I am. I'll try to answer your questions, but remember that whatever I say, it is just my own opinion. I've had experience with various types of publishing. My first book, "From Thunder to Breakfast" (about storyteller Hube Yates) I published myself. I sent out about six queries to publishers and received negative replies. I didn't know at the time that six isn't very many. It was a big success, but I didn't like being a publisher. A very fine company, Northland Press, published the second edition. It was out of print for a while, and then I heard about print-on-demand. It is NEVER supposed to go out of print, and it is a quality book. That's good, but it had its drawbacks, mostly about distribution.

Maybe I should continue this another time, but you get the idea. You could ask me questions if you like, or I could go on about my other books
and experiences with them.

I don't know if everybody knows it all. We have different requirements. What might satisfy some, might be an irritation to others. Let's talk about it.
