beading tool
I made a beading tool over the weekend from wood and an old saw blade. The wood came from a pallet (of course) I think it is maple. it works great, but I think i need a littler version for most of what I do. This would work great for panels or anything clamped up.

Antiques....?
Just added a picture file....one of my customers had to sell her summer home and I have been helping clean it out...she gave away almost everything...
She says they were circa 1860.......
so I grabbed this bucket

and this chest

What should I do with them....NOTHING?....refinish?... firewood?...
All comments will be graciously appreciated....

Sharpening Station
In the latest addition of ShopNotes magazine, they've an interesting project called a Drill Press Sharpening Station. This looks to be a project to my liking and as soon as the heat and hurricanes pass, I intend to build my version.
Now not being one to follow someone else's lead, I'll include my modifications of course. For one thing, the link belt called for is $9.00 a foot in cost, I think I can come up with something as good, but more affordable.
Is anyone else interested in tackling this project?
