Home-based income?
I've read a number of posts on this forum and elsewhere on eons.com. I decided to let others here know there are options for them.
Let me clear up one misconception that some people have. Many believe that home-based means all the work is done at home. In my case, that couldn't be further from the truth. My office is in my home, and has been since I started in back in 1984.
But, prior to expanding my business online, I sold face-to-face almost exclusively for 14 years. I left home everyday, and called on clients and prospects across Southwest Louisiana.
I sell promotional advertising to a wide range of business & industry, organizations, and gov't offices from local school boards to state and federal agencies. My online site, added in '98, have allowed me to expand both the geographical reach as well as the nature of the businesses I can assist.
Promotional advertising is an $18 Billion industry in the US, and a person only needs to capture the tip of a niche to earn some excellent commissions. Meet the client's needs, and you may gain a customer for life.
If anyone is interested in more details, please visit my website, www.CuttingEdgeAdvertising.com . You will find a sampling of products as well as a list of useful criteria for evaluating any bizopp you are considering.

Residual Income
I really wish someone would tell the world the golden years is the biggest bunch bulls.... I ever heard unless of course you are one the greedy ones that got the CEO or Congressional golden parachute. The rest of us schmucks worked our butts off so they could have a golden retirement. Sorry if I sound a little bitter but I've reached my limit of receiving the message that my time because I didn't finish college, or have a rich daddy is somehow less precious and therefore worth less than these white collar thieves that have robbed America blind.
Okay now that I have that off my chest, I do take responsibility for having been dumb enough to be a loyal employee working for people whose values are as empty as a dry well. Since becoming disabled in 2000 I have looked at home based businesses that include secret shoppers, the ever infamous envelope stuffing hype, taking surveys, data entry or typing from home schemes, reading email, and if anyone can make money with any of these I'll eat my computer.
That leaves me with two types of business that I can start up without needing to lay down alot of startup cash. From my perspective they would be network marketing or affiliate marketing. I chose network marketing and then began my due diligence. Of course the first thing I heard was, is that one of those pyramid schemes? And the answer to that is NO it is not. Every Fortune 50, 100, 500, 1000 company is a pyramid based on it's structure. So now the question becomes do you want to labor at the lower half of the structure or build your own. To build your own was my answer and from there I searched to find a company that had the most equitable compensation plan. In other words one where I wouldn't have to have thousands of customers to generate the kind of income I want to make. I believe I found that company, one based on my values of fair play for everyone in the company not just the owners or top earners.
I also wanted a company whose products were those which I had an interest in, for me that meant health and wellness primarily. I wanted to improve my health as I found getting older meant more physical problems that just didn't occur when I was younger. After seeing all these commercials for the pharmaceutical industry and the side effects of their products I figured I wanted to stay as healthy as possible. If you'd like more information here is my blog. view link
