If any of you know how to move a group to a new manager, I would love to hear how to do it. I have been told a person is willing to host this place and I am sure she can do a much better job than I can. Between my household being turned upside down with a live in father in law who is 90, and a puter that caught a virus and gave me much trouble...and then my sweetie getting his stomach surgery so that he is dropping weight like crazy and I thinkk he's giving it to me....I really have not been available to help motivate this web group. I am sorry. So, help me out here and lets get this group to a manager that can motivate and inspire! Bright blessings, Astrid

Hi All,

I have a question about candle colors - I have seen lists of the colors to be used and their sybolism - usually somewhere in the list of course is silver and gold - however I have also read articles that the silver and gold used in metallic candles is not healthy to breath.
I make my own beeswax sheet candles for Friday night Sabbath and would like to use silver can I substitute a light gray instead? Can I substitute an ochre color for gold?

i have been a member of this group for a long time, however i haven't posted anything on eons in over a year.this group has always been slow on conversations but i think we have plenty to discuss and plenty of healing to help people with. if we all sent healings together at one time to someone who needs it we could even be a very powerful and helpful group! after all ,as a born and reincarnated witch, i know one thing for sure, and that is my purpose for being here and i believe that we are a special type of person who are sent here to guide mankind. even though we have been outcast for it, it is still why we are sent here by the goddess.i have had severe health problems, i just recently lost both my legs and one thing i know. i can't heal myself. but at our age we all have this in common, the problem of dealing with our aging bodies, i know during the last year i have doubted my faith and doubted myself i have found it extremely hard to separete my inner self from my body, to keep the pain from stealing my peace of mind. i know in the condition i am in that i will be teaching people without even speaking to them. there is a purpose for it all ,a lesson, it is a
part of my circle of life. how do you deal with your health issues? what do you do when it feels like you are grasping at straws when you try to meditate , when so many times you touched the divine? i'm getting better, how are you doing? i also know that even though i have been a witch since the beginning of time, there are still things to learn about this wonderful path. so let us talk, let us ask questions and maybe we can even work together as we witches are prone to do!!!!

Thank you so much for accepting my request to join this group. I had lots of time to reflect on my life, when I became disabled in 2007 and one of the things I realized was that I was never really happy or convinced about the faith I was raised on. One thing lead to an other and my direction change for the better. I became more and more fascinated with Wiccan & Pagan ways and what they stood for. Everything seem to fall into place. You know when you just know something is right and was meant to be? well this was it. I have never in all my 54 1/2 years felt so spiritually alive as I do now. :) I love and collect Crystals & Gemstones and like to make my own Altar items if I can. I have so far made my own wand and working on a second one. If you have anymore questions please ask.

Found my way here this morning, Easter Sunday, because I needed a break from all the "He has risen," stuff. Easter to me is a celebration in the rebirth of nature.

Wow, it's been an eventful year! What are everyone's plans for Samhain / Halloween? I've been caught up in my daily life and have neglected the spiritual side. What about a group blessing for everyone?
