Weight Watchers at Work
I'm a Lifetime member, not at goal. I just got an email from a co-worker that we may be able to have WW at work! I think this may be just what I need. Before, I would go back to WW in town, and being a lifetime member, would only weigh in once a month... play the game, if I had a bad week of eating, I'd skip the weigh in. This time, I'm going to buy the 12 week program, and weigh in every week. Lets face it.. its the accountability that helps this program work!!!
Hopefully we will get 15 members to do it..

A gain this week ...
... but not unexpected. I expected a "bump" after the huge loss when I was moving, and sure enough, I gained 1.6. But I'm OK with it. I know I stayed within my points, exercised 5 days, etc. I figure it's just my body "adjusting" itself.
I'm heading out to one of our local farm markets today to pick up blueberries and blackberries. I like to mix these with frozen sliced strawberries and serve over angel food cake with a dollop of fat-free cool whip. It's already starting to get cool here, so summer will be over soon -- I want to enjoy it as long as I can! LOL!

Online Info.
Hi everyone,
My son and I both want to use the weight watchers approach at losing weight but neither of us want to go to meetings. I have been to meetings before and know they are not for me. I am not sure of the plans any longer and how to work one, does any one here know of a web site, preferable no charge, where I can get weight watchers info to get started?

Stay With It
It seems I do good one week and the next is filled with people that are inviting me to a cookout or a visit to camp where you have no control of the food that is served.
I have to get back to eating the way I should. I applaud people that can stick with it for such a long period. It does feel good when I lose some weight.
After Labor Day I'm getting back to eating right. I know what I have to do but doing it is another thing. Thanks for being there.

Weekly Weigh-In
Hey folks! Well, I lost another pound this past week (woo-hoo!) and now have lost 23 pounds. I had a good week and kept my food journal for five of seven days. Today I feel hopeful and encouraged to keep on with the program. It is going to be a long time before I reach the weight I want to maintain, but at least I am going in the right direction.

Hi all. I went to WW for almost 2 years and did not make goal. Life got in my way and I lost the will to do almost anything. I decided to dust myself off and get back on track. I rejoined WW today and I am glad to get any extra support I can. I am glad I found this group. thanks for having me. Hope to lose at least 25 lbs. See you all soon.
Labor Day Weekend
We are going to eat out Saturday, and also have bbq, Monday. Hope I don't gain the weight I lost! I lost 1.6 lbs! tallcathy61

This is a great site for looking up points for eating out and other things as well.
Thought I'd share.

Newbie
Hello everyone!
I am new to WW so I really don't have much to say about my group. I went Thursday to my first meeting. There was so much information given to me at once, it was sort of hard to digest (ha ha) it all at one time.
After joining the website I picked up a lot of information. It is hard just starting because you wonder, what will I eat? So, I have started by putting together some simple meals. I also looked at what had zero points, just in case the "snack bug" hit me all at once.
Any hints for a newcomer would be appreciated! I am looking forward to reading about what other members do for meals and for excercise.
