Cold... but still fine with me! ~
Every year around this time, we experience our Winter. For a few weeks, usually from late December through February, the evenings are cooler as are the days compared to what we are accustomed to. The heat kicks on usually overnight or early morning. If you are like me, I am unaffected and still wear my shorts, even with a light jacket!
Unfortunitely, this is when our family and friends from the North come to visit, expecting Florida-like weather. We tell them in advance to be prepared for 'whatever'. They brave the cold and also venture out in shorts and sandals. You can always tell the tourists by their clothing... agree, Y'all?

Came out so strange...this is out my living room window to the northwest...of course all I wanted was the sky...got my lamp and my camera to the right...lol...rather odd but just concentrate on the purdy sky...lol....
The weekend is here...NOW!
I am so happy, I have the next 4 days off from cleaning houses and it is just what I need. These last 2 weeks have been insane with some of the toughest houses I've ever worked on. I'm so thankful that my friend Rosie has become my partner. She has really saved my back and hip from worse wear and tear.
Now...on to enjoy my time off. :-)

Florida Trip Postponed
Regretfully, I will not be on the plane, today, heading to sunny Florida. I had to reschedule my flight and postpone my, planned, three month visit. I came down with some ailment that has me under the weather. Saw the doctor, yesterday, and now waiting for blood work. I have rebooked the flight for Feb 7th. Luckily, the weather forcast for upstate NY is actually quite nice for the next week. Still wishing I were on my way to Florida.
