Do you think "Affirmative Action" is fair? I think, perhaps discrimination is not but trying to address past injustices in todays' world amounts to pretty much the same scenario where groups are discriminated against.

There is only one way out of this quagmire of economic mess we've found ourselves in:

1. Regulate greed.
2. Print more money.
3. Borrow overseas.
4. Increase tax revenue.

1. The big end of town will not like it. Corporate jets and lunches in Melbourne will be not be tax deductable.

2. Printing more money is OK in the short term but overall will devalue the $ on the international market. Which may not be a bad thing if we ....

3. Borrow money at the inflated rate and pay it back at the deflated rate. The Chinese are pretty cluey and will sniff out such shenanigans before they buy US bonds..

4. Taxes....What a pain in the ass they are. Set up a commission to put into black and white where they all go. Transparency is sadly lacking in where our tax dollars flow. However, regardless your politico leanings, taxes will rise in order to combat the economic mess we are now in.

One way rolled into four. They all must be utilized as one.

What would we watch on TV on Sunday morning if it were not for crackpot business speculators? Billy Graham, Oral Roberts (remember them?) then there are todays messengers. Keflo A. Dollar, Benny Hine et al. They are so stupid they make me laugh. I sometimes watch them just for the humor value. If I step on anyones toes by mentioning them GOOD. Your toes are sticking out too far. You've got a serious hole in your sock. After I sign off I'll think of more stuff to say. Nevermind.

What is it with F word? Why do so many Americans take exception? It's just an exclamtion mark if used in context. It's just a word. Why do some feel they have been slapped in the face if I use it? It's just a word.

Please refrain using that phrase in the future. Thanks.

If I hear that phrase again I'm going to scream and pick up that glove and beat the shit out of anyone who slapped me with it. The gauntlet is alive.

If we built about 5000 nuclear power plants out there with the subsequent waste materials accumulating would we be able to to dispose of it without endangering our great great grandchilren? This is a long term toxic waste problem . 250 000 years half life.

Unless we can covert it into recoverable energy. One day we'll benefit from research done today.

If you were pottering along a suburban street and found a toolbox lying alone beside of the road would you stop and pick it up? If you threw it into the back of the truck or the back seat when getting home home would you take it inside and open it to see what was inside? If you found $40 000 in cash, $200 000 worth of heroin, cooking implements and 14 ounces of marijuana inside would you report it to the police?

Huh? What would you do? This happened to a friend of mine many years ago in Cheyenne. He stashed the money, threw a few bags of weed behind the toaster then called the cops. Gave me all the grass which I made brownies out of. I haven't been the same since.
