I received a PM from a person having difficulty understanding how to download a file and choose the location to save the file. Since I use Macs and they use Windows, I can't take screenshots that might help explain.

I'm hoping that someone else might be able to take some screenshots and explain the process - or might have some links to some tutorials that are on the net. So, if you can help, we'd both appreciate it!

On my profile, I have white lines in between the widgets I have added. I do not remember seeing those before 2 weeks ago, and do not know how to get rid of those lines. I have looked at other profiles and it is not on the ones I looked at. It has nothing to do with the skins, because I have changed to many different skins and it does not go away.

Does anyone have a reason it is on my profile, and can I do anything to remove these white lines?

Can I move the windows on my profile page? I'd like to have my friends box and my blog box closer to the top - or are the placement of these areas set by eons and not changeable?

I'm helping Sirbill44 recreate his website so that he can move it from a paid host (WebTV community home pages) and choose another host. Since the Page Builder of the WebTv site was used, the graphics are linked by full URL's to where they are stored on that site. There are other problems too, so, simply saving the site and uploading it elsewhere is not an option. However, once we are finished, Sirbill44 will have the files and graphics on his computer and can choose any web host he wants to use.

You might want to join in on the fun - or use this thread to learn one way you can recreate (or create) a website with a template. We will welcome any help that folks might want to offer as well as help folks who want to try to do something similar.

This thread will be geared toward the complete beginner. I'm going to be giving some step-by-steps in the replies including screenshots of how to upload files and images, how to make changes to the css file of the template and more. Feel free to follow along, offer tips and/or ask questions if something isn't clear!

I need to learn all these things cause my hubby wants me to design a website for his Motorcycle business. I want to learn it to cause I love all the neat things you can do with graphics and such. But I am not computer savvy, I can copy and paste things such as codes and all , but I want to learn how to make my own code or whatever for his site. I hope that made sense.

As you may know, I'm helping sirbill44 redo his website. We're in the market for some military or patriotic music files (midi, wav or mp3) that can be downloaded and used on a website or for files that are on a music sharing site.
