Those Little Things
Do you ever wonder if God is interested in the little things of life? I think so!
On Wednesday night, a few of the church ladies were standing around after service talking about their hair dressers. The next day I found out that my hair dresser had gone out of business, but I was quickly able to set up an appointment with a new one - you guessed it, one of my church friend's hair dressers!
On Monday, during our Women's Ministries meeting, one of the outreach ideas shared had to do with passing out free chilled water bottles on a hot day with an invitation to visit our church. Yesterday, I ran across a group posting from months ago with a layout for the invitation to go with the cold water bottles!
Some folks would just call these coincidences - but I firmly believe that God is interested and involved in the day-to-day events of our lives. God really cares about us!
Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Thank you for the Videos!
The two videos, He's My King and Rain Down are both wonderful! I am so glad I took the time to listen to both of them!
Nothing is Too Hard for God
“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”- Jeremiah 32:17
Isn't this FANTASTIC news? Nothing is too hard for God! This incredible Supreme Being, Who created everything, the planet we stand on, every planet in this solar system, in the Milky Way, in the universe, our sun and every star that shines in the night sky, seen and unseen ... He loves you! He loves me! We are His beloved children, and nothing is too hard for Him! Wow!

The Family of God
"Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, 'Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.'
" 'Who are my mother and my brothers?' he asked.
"Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother.' " Mark 3:31-34 (NIV)
Isn't it wonderful to be part of God's family?

The Word of Life!
1 John 1:1-4 from The Message
"From the very first day, we were there, taking it all in—we heard it with our own ears, saw it with our own eyes, verified it with our own hands. The Word of Life appeared right before our eyes; we saw it happen! And now we're telling you in most sober prose that what we witnessed was, incredibly, this: The infinite Life of God himself took shape before us.
We saw it, we heard it, and now we're telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!"
I love the traditional rendering of these verses, but this new, paraphrased version is great too!
