"Ten Years After"...Answers!
The Woodstock weekend anniversary is behind us now, and the "The Challenge" questions left unanswered are as follows:
Britgal answered the first question on the final post correctly...
#1..British band 'Blues Trip', (Blues Yard) changed their name in November 1966, to 'Ten Years After'. This was in honour of Elvis Presley's, breakthrough momentous year in 1956, which catapulted him into non-stop stardom.
Lead singer Alvin Lee idolized Elvis and was responsible for the name change.
#2.."Ten Years After" performed their closing number at approximately 10:15 p.m....They went on at 8:00 p.m. and the act after them came on at 10:30 p.m...
#3..Alvin Lee included a short medley of songs made famous by Elvis, and Jerry Lee Lewis...
Thanks to all who participated in "The Challenge" this year!

New to the Group
I am excited by the possibilities in this Group for a 50's and 60's music fan like myself. I want to thank isacanota for dropping by my profile and mentioning this Group to me, and I look forward to swapping stories of songs and related "stuff" with the members. Thank you for allowing me to join.
