Wow, a few cooler days here in Florida, I am so spoiled it was only 55 degrees outside and I had on 2 shirts, sweats, an afgan and double socks. How spoiled is that. Last year we had some days in the 30"s. Only a few, but you would have thought it was Alaska in deep winter, although worked with a nurse from Alaska who told me it got colder in some parts of Michagan. Have been overwhelmed by life lately, not been posting. But have been front porch sittin, with coffee in the am and tea in the pm. Rockin and praying, and taking time to listen. Sometimes listening involves hearing things we don't want to hear or acknowledge. No age limit on growth, thank God.

If you have a TRUE friend on line, hold on to them dearly, because they are rare and hard to find ♥

I come to sit and empty my mind as I Pray and Send Positive Thoughts to my Friends that have been affected by the tornados this week, my friends are alright as can be expected ,.,. Dear Lord please let the missing be found safe and that their pets will also be calm and safe after this horrible mess and that help will be forth coming so they can start the long hard job of getting their lives back together ,.

Lookin for a nice porch with a BIG SWING thats my most favoriet place to be when i WAS A KID MILLIONS OF EONS ago.Would like to meet some folks sit & chat a while in my swing. I've waited years for this to come, it's here my precious hubby is gravely ill and here I sit in my swing if toy like stop by say HI surely be appreciated. Spunkylicious.

Law of the Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport.
We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.


So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined
your car and sent us to the hospital!'
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally.

Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,
so ... Love the people who treat you right.
Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

I was blowing my nose and thinking about the heavy rain and wind storm we just had and longed for that warmth weather of just sitting on the porch with some nice sweet ice tea. And all of you for company. I don't have a real porch right now. However I do have a back porch and by the comming summer I may have a front porch and a back. Anyway Thought I would just share some porches with you all as well settle back and just chat awhile. Talking about all the things going on in the world today.
