What is Dream Factory of Central Illinois Mission?
The Central Illinois Dream Factory is on a mission: to make dreams come true for critically and chronically ill children. Bright hopes and dream are a beautiful part of childhood. But some dreams just can't be delayed – and that's why we're here. Each dream granted gives these children and their families a little extra strength to face the difficult and uncertain times ahead. Because sometimes the best medicine for a critically ill child is a dream come true.
What types of dreams have you granted?
Central Illinois Dream Factory has granted a wide-range of dreams for our dream recipients. And we'll consider any reasonable dream request. In general, our dream requests have fallen into one of the three following categories:
Ø Travel Dreams - A portion of our dream children wish to travel to a favorite theme park; meanwhile others want to visit beach, or attend a concert.
Ø Meeting A Hero - Some kids' dreams are to meet their favorite movie star, recording artist, or favorite athlete.
Ø Gift Dreams - Some dream children wish to have a gift, like a computer, a swimming pool, or a new animal that can expand the laughter and smiles that should be apart of their lives.
How can I support the Dream Factory?

Ø By Mail - Our address to mail contributions is P.O. Box 1431 Pekin, IL 61554.
Ø Paypal - Through our website, you can make a secure payment.
Ø Refer A Child - If you know a child that meets our dream criteria, please contact us.
Ø Volunteer - We are always in need of volunteers, so fill out our online form to help make a dream come true.
Ø Ebay - Designate us to receive a percentage of your auction sales through Ebay Giving Works.
Ø Recycling - Donate recyclables at Lee's Metals in Eureka & Midland Davis Recycling in Pekin/Peoria.
Ø United Way - Designate us as the recipient through payroll deduction through your work campaign.
Ø Promotion - News or media stations to promote upcoming events.
Ø Sponsorship - A business or person can choose to sponsor an event or a dream platform.
Ø Online Shopping - Visit and signup at www.onecause.com and designate us as the recipient through your online purchases.
What qualifications must a child to have a dream granted by Central Illinois Dream Factory?
Each referral is carefully screened to determine if they meet the following criteria:
Ø Is between 3 and 18 years of age.
Ø Has not received a dream from another wish-granting organization.
Ø Has a critical or chronic illness, which can be verified on the application by the child's primary physician.
Ø The dream is the child's and not that of the parent, or other concerned party.
Ø The child must be able to communicate the dream to a Dream Factory representative.
